Food Allergen Management Training at PS Food & Beverage Sdn. Bhd.

On 29 August 2025, PHEIO Management Sdn Bhd conducted a focused and practical Food Allergen Management Training session with the dedicated team at PS Food & Beverage Sdn Bhd, led by Puan Amirah Emran.

Food allergens are a serious matter, they’re one of the leading causes of food recalls and can pose life-threatening risks to sensitive consumers. That’s why effective allergen control and risk management is not only a food safety requirement but a shared responsibility across all operations.

👩‍🏫 Led by our experienced trainer, the session explored:
- Identifying priority allergens and understanding regulatory requirements
- Conducting allergen risk assessments across the production chain
- Implementing cross-contact prevention measures during receiving, storage, processing, and packing
- Validating and verifying cleaning procedures to eliminate allergen residues
- Participants actively engaged in group discussions and case studies, translating knowledge into practical steps for strengthening their allergen risk management system.
- Implementing a strong allergen risk management approach not only helps prevent cross-contact and protect sensitive consumers, but also reduces the risk of costly recalls, ensures compliance with regulations, and builds greater trust in the brand.
