Food & Water Safety Assessor Training

On 25th August 2025, PHEIO Management Sdn Bhd was honored to deliver the Food & Water Safety Assessor Training with the committed team from PETRONAS, held at the prestigious PETRONAS Leadership Centre (PLC).
This was not just a training, it was about building competent assessors: individuals equipped to evaluate risks, identify hazards, and ensure that preventive measures are more than policies — they are embedded into daily practice.
Training Highlights:
Developing the skills of a Food & Water Safety Assessor
Learning how to conduct structured assessments & verifications
Identifying contamination risks and implementing preventive actions
Strengthening accountability and ownership in safety systems
A key component of the training included a hands-on practical hygiene assessment conducted at the PLC Kitchens.
This real-world exercise enhanced participants’ ability to assess food handling environments effectively and, more importantly, enabled PETRONAS to identify actionable improvements, reinforce best practices, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of its internal food and water safety systems.
Led by Puan Amirah Emran, participants embraced the assessor mindset, curious, observant, and dedicated to continuous improvement. The PETRONAS team demonstrated that safety is not a checklist, it is a culture to uphold and protect.
