IN HOUSE FOOD HANDLER TRAINING

Food Handler Training session conducted by Puan Aina on 22nd September with the dedicated team at Fruity Cake Sdn Bhd.

The training aimed to enhance employees’ understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring that every product leaving Fruity Cake’s ovens meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Fruity Cake Sdn Bhd is a brand that specializes in crafting pastry products such as puff pastries and strudels. Fruity Cake Sdn Bhd aims to equip the staff with knowledge on safe food handling to ensure the product produced not just achieving its authenticity as a well crafted pastry but also free from potential risk of contamination.

In achieving this objectives, a Food Handler Training session was delivered to the team, to elevate knowledge and awareness of Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), including:
• Compliance with the Food Hygiene Regulations 2009
• Awareness of food premises hygiene and contamination hazards
• Understanding foodborne diseases and cross-contamination control
• Adherence to personal hygiene requirements
• Implementation of effective cleaning, sanitation, pest control, and maintenance practices
• Application of proper temperature control in food preparation
• Attainment of a Food Handler Certificate for Local Authority licensing
• Fulfilment of Food Safety Assurance Systems such as MESTI, BeSS, GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000

Through this initiative, Fruity Cake Sdn Bhd continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to safe, hygienic, and high-quality scrumptious food production — from its iconic Apple Strudel to its signature desserts — is prepared with care, passion, and full compliance with food safety standards.
