UNDERSTANDING OF ISO 22002-100:2025 & ISO 22002-1:2025 TRANSITION AT Global Specialty Ingredients (M) SDN BHD

On 6 May 2026, Global Specialty Ingredients (M) Sdn Bhd participated in the Understanding of ISO 22002-100:2025 & ISO 22002-1:2025 Transition Training facilitated by Puan Nur Nadhirah Husna Mohd Yusof from PHEIO Management Sdn Bhd.

The session was conducted to provide a clearer understanding of the updated prerequisite programme (PRP) requirements and the transition expectations under the latest ISO 22002 standards. Participants explored the practical application of hygiene controls, operational conditions, environmental management, and risk-based thinking within food manufacturing environments.

One of the key discussions during the training focused on how organizations can align their current systems with the revised requirements while maintaining operational efficiency and food safety consistency. The session also encouraged participants to identify gaps and improvement opportunities within their existing practices.

It was encouraging to see active engagement and thoughtful discussions throughout the training, reflecting the organization’s dedication towards strengthening food safety management systems.
