On 21 & 22 August 2025, PHEIO Management Sdn Bhd, represented by Puan Amirah Emran, conducted an impactful two-day training session on GMP & HACCP Awareness and HACCP Internal Audit with the dedicated team at Yeo Hiap Seng (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Day 1 – GMP & HACCP Awareness
The first day focused on building a strong foundation in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). Key areas covered included:
• Principles of GMP in food production
• Introduction to HACCP and its 7 principles
• Identification of hazards and control measures
• Importance of food safety culture and regulatory compliance

Day 2 – HACCP Internal Audit
On the second day, participants deepened their understanding through hands-on training in HACCP Internal Auditing. The session covered:
• Audit planning and preparation
• Conducting effective internal audits
• Identifying non-conformities and root cause analysis
• Reporting and follow-up actions for continuous improvement
