FSSC 22000 Awareness & Food Safety and Quality Culture Training

On 27 August 2025, PHEIO Management Sdn Bhd was honoured to deliver a full-day training session with the dedicated team at SD Guthrie International Port Klang Refinery Sdn Bhd, led by Puan Amirah Emran.

Morning Session – FSSC 22000 Awareness

This session provided a structured overview of the latest FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System, incorporating the updated ISO 22002-100:2025 prerequisite program requirements. Participants explored the certification structure, core requirements, integration with ISO-based standards, and the critical role of risk-based thinking in food safety management.

Afternoon Session – Food Safety & Quality Culture

In the afternoon session, the focus shifted to the cultural and behavioural aspects of food safety. Participants were introduced to tools and approaches for assessing and building a positive food safety and quality culture, supported by leadership, communication, and continuous engagement from all organizational levels.

With Puan Amirah Emran’s guidance and practical insights, the session empowered participants to connect technical systems with human behaviours, reinforcing that compliance is sustainable only when supported by a strong, safety-driven culture.
