On 28 August 2025, PHEIO Management Sdn Bhd partnered with the passionate team at HLRB Processing Sdn Bhd to deliver a hands-on and insightful Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) training session.

Why EMP? Because a clean, controlled environment is the frontline defense against contamination, the invisible threats that can compromise food safety and product quality. Moreover, implementing an effective EMP is a key component of the FSSC 22000 requirements, reinforcing its importance in maintaining a robust food safety management system.

During this session, participants dived deep into: Risk Assessment: Pinpointing potential contamination hotspots and focusing monitoring efforts where it matters most to stay ahead of risks.

Microbiological Testing Know-How: Understanding the key microorganisms to watch for, and how to interpret results to detect early warning signs.

Rapid Corrective Actions: Crafting clear, effective responses when issues arise, stopping contamination in its tracks.

This training isn’t just about ticking boxes; it’s about empowering teams with the tools and knowledge to proactively protect every step of the food production process.
